Blacksmith creating a wall hook
Buffalo, Wyoming blacksmith David Osmundsen makes a wall hook with a twist at the Campbell County Rockpile Museum in Gillette, Wyoming on July 17th, 2008. David was at the museum doing demonstrations in conjunction with the opening of the Rockpile Museum’s Ranch Blacksmith Shop exhibit. David operates Arrowhead Forge in Buffalo. ha before i even saw the comments i was thinking “dammit another dude with the cut off hardy in the anvil!!!” and screw that hes a professional crap. Thats why they call it an accident, professional or not!
i would not. keep the hardy out. i know a guy who is missing 2 fingers from doing that. don’t make the same mistake. keep out the hardy when you work.
I know. The hardy, if sharp can cause some serious booboos if left in the anvil, but hey: this guys a professional and I would listen to him.
